About the Role
- This is a Casual role working within a tight-knit team
- You will start on 2-3 shifts per week. Hours will increase throughout the School Holiday period
- Your shift times will vary in length and can be very flexible
- You will work very independently, so need to be comfortable with handling animals and making decisions with limited supervision
- You will be paid as per Award requirements
- You will work with a range of domestic pets (not just dogs!)
This role is ideal for somebody who is at uni or another job 1-2 days per week.
We are based in Camden and looking to hire within our local community.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a Police Check at their own expense before work commences.
About You
Ideally, you are:
- Over 20 years of age with a valid Australian Drivers Licence (Green P’s or above only, sorry) and a clean driving record
- Have a genuine passion for the health and wellbeing of animals of all kinds (so if you love dogs and hate cats, this job is not right for you)
- Have experience caring for domestic pets (even if they’re just your own)
- A fit and active person who loves the outdoors
- Interested in learning more about dog behaviour
- A team player who is willing to put your hand up to help out your fellow team members
- A great communicator with experience communicating to customers
- Experienced in working both unsupervised and as part of a team

- Capable with smartphone technology and have experience managing an Instagram account (including posting to Instagram Stories)
- A confident driver with fair knowledge of getting around the Macarthur & Wollondilly region
- Available to work weekends, school holidays, long weekends, and throughout the Christmas & New Year period
