Why is a regular outing so important?

SOCIALISATION

It doesn’t take a Dog Behaviour specialist to work out why socialisation is so important for every dog. Dogs who spend time interacting, exercising, and playing with other dogs and people lead healthy and happy lives. Socialization teaches your pup that making friends, listening to others, and exercising is all fun!

HAPPINESS & HEALTH

Regular exercise can help to bring out the best in your dog and assist with controlling destructive behaviour within the home. There are so many reasons why a regular walk is beneficial for your dog, but we’ve chosen our top 4 which we reckon are the most important. Have a read for yourself!

YOUR PEACE OF MIND

There’s no need to feel guilty if your hectic human lifestyle is getting in the way of spending time with your furry four-legged pal. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, our visit reports and photos will give you peace of mind that your dog is having a total ball when out and about with us.

Could not recommend Pawz & Me and the team enough! The Team are so professional and easy to work with. They treat our pup as one of their own and teach him plenty of stuff along the way. Pawz & Me has great communication with all clients through an amazing app that shows everything from your next appointment to invoices. They always take photos of your puppy after their outing which is one of our highlights. Super grateful for them and very happy with their service. Thanks Pawz & Me!

My Miniature Dachshund goes out with Pawz & Me once a week, and it’s literally the highlight of my week – and hers too! Love the updates and photos I receive each time she’s in their care. I don’t trust many people with her, but couldn’t recommend the girls at Pawz & Me enough. They are so beautiful to her and always make me feel comfortable & at ease when I know she is in their hands. Thanks for looking after my girl!

Highly recommend Pawz & Me! Friendly, professional team, excellent communication (love the reports and photos following sessions) and so easy to communicate, make bookings and check payments etc via the app! Love that our puppy Elsie gets to interact with other dogs and people and do something different and fun from her usual daily routine with the variety of places she goes! Thanks guys!

FAQ's

DO YOU PROVIDE DOG TRAINING?

Unfortunately we don’t provide in-house Dog Training. However, we highly recommend the talented team from Animal Wellness & Behaviour.

WHAT IF MY DOG ISN'T VERY GOOD AT SOCIALISING?

We provide plenty of opportunities to socialise for dogs. We recommend any new dogs who may be a little anxious start on some one-on-one walks so they can begin to develop a solid relationship with our handlers before advancing to our group outing options.

Our Dog Park Adventures are a great way to get dogs making new friends and exploring new environments which can greatly enhance their confidence and independence to make them expert socialisers! We provide solo, one-on-one sessions for dogs who are just starting their journey of socialisation, or longer group sessions for dogs who have had plenty of experience making and playing with other doggy friends.

If your dog struggles with anxiety in new social situations, then booking a Consultation with an experienced Dog Trainer is a great place to start. We highly recommend the Team from Animal Wellness & Behaviour.

MY DOG SUCKS AT WALKING ON A LEAD - CAN YOU FIX THIS?

Throughout our walks, we provide basic discipline training such as sitting and waiting before crossing the road and we can also provide leash training for good loose leash skills. Often, issues with leash training may come down to issues with structure and training within the home, so we highly recommend booking in a Consultation with an experienced Dog Trainer.

We highly recommend the Team from Animal Wellness & Behaviour.
